Special Economic Zones live or die on their spatial logic. Get the plan wrong and you end up with a fenced-off industrial estate nobody wants to work in. Get it right and you build an engine for a country's economy, one that also happens to be a good place to spend a working day.
That's the brief we set ourselves for this 84-acre SEZ masterplan in Grenada. Form Follows People led the full masterplan design, structured around three things working together: innovation, production, and experience. Strip out any one of them and you get a zone that functions but never really comes alive.
Strategically positioned within Grenada's designated Special Economic Zone, the district is a gateway connecting the Caribbean, the Americas, and international markets. It's designed for manufacturers, exporters, consumer brands, technology companies, and enterprises with regional ambitions, giving them a platform for market access, international partnerships, and long-term growth.
The masterplan brings enterprise spaces, production facilities, logistics infrastructure, warehousing, showrooms, and digital trade connectivity into one integrated ecosystem. Goods move efficiently, business operations stay streamlined, and regional distribution and market expansion happen without friction. That same integration is what strengthens supply chains and opens the door to genuine cross-border collaboration, not just co-location.
What sets this plan apart is the third pillar: experience.
